Motorpoint grid girl Jade on her 'amazing experience'

Over the last few months we at Crash.net offered one lucky reader the opportunity to become a grid girl for the Motorpoint Yamaha team during the British Superbike Championship event at Silverstone.

The winner, as voted for by you in your thousands, was Jade Robinson, who got the chance to realise her dream of becoming a grid girl when she represented Loris Baz and his Motorpoint-sponsored Yamaha R1.

Braving the wind and the rain, Jade did an outstanding job as the face of the team throughout race day, describing it as the perfect way to celebrate her upcoming 21st birthday.

"Silverstone was the best experience I have ever had and am very grateful," she said. "The team was amazing and they made me feel really welcome. Being behind the scenes and watching how they all work together to make the bikes work as well as possible for the riders is fascinating.

"I would love to become a grid girl permanently if anyone will have me! It really is my dream job, I enjoy motorbike racing, so to be a part of it has made my birthday. Thank you to everyone who voted and to all the Motorpoint Yamaha team, Stephen Wright and Ed Warren for the great video!"
