HM Plant Honda's Michael Rutter took pole position in the dry conditions at Croft for the sixth round of the Bennett's British Superbike championship. Team-mate Ryiuchi Kiyonari took fourth place so that the HM Plant Hondas book-end the front row of the grid.

Tom Sykes held onto pole position in the dry second qualifying session at Croft in the British Supersport championship. The TAS Suzuki rider held off Stuart Easton and Craig Jones who were all running in the 1min 22secs, with only half a second separating the first three riders.
Michelin`s secret tyre stolen at Mondello.
Michelin recently suffered the theft of one of its latest-technology tyres during a British Superbike Championship event. Having reported it to the police, an investigation showed that this theft appeared to have been professionally carried out.
