A host of bike racing legends both past and present will be attending Club Amadeus in Northallerton, UK, this Sunday (27th November) as part of the Gus Scott Tribute Auction.

Originally, former WSBK Champion Neil Hodgson was due to attend, but other commitments have forced the Englihsman to miss the event. But in his place will be former rival, crowd favourite and current WSBK star Chris Walker as well as Yorkshire hero James Whitham, who will also be aiming to help raise an estimated ?50,000 for Gus's daughter and family.

Also in attendance will be his best mate, eight times TT winner John McGuinness, along with former British Supersport Champion Karl Harris, whilst Sky TV commentator and former GP racer Niall Mackenzie is hoping to be present.

Add to that the fastest lady around the Isle of Man, Maria Costello, BSB riders Dean Ellison, Dennis Hobbs, Gareth Glynn plus 125cc superstar Dan Linfoot...

And the reason they are all coming? Simple, it's for one of the biggest sales of motorcycling memorabilia ever to come under the hammer, and all in memory of Gus - who was tragically killed at this year's TT races.

How about a lap in the BMW course car at the start of a MotoGP race? The driver? None other than 1982 World 500cc Champion Franco Uncini. Oh, and that particular lot also includes a pair of VIP paddock passes - for the GP of your choice.

But if you think even that is a little tame you could bid for a pair of tickets for the 2006 Macau Grand Prix - courtesy of the Macau Tourist Board. This lot includes all air travel, transfers and accommodation to what is possibly the most exotic location for a race, anywhere, ever.

Don't fancy long haul and noodles? No worries, there are VIP passes to every blue-chip race meeting be it MotoGP, World Superbike or British Superbike. Just take you pick and get bidding.

But if you want something longer lasting, something to treasure, there's heaps of autographed gear from even the mighty Valentino Rossi himself. Neil Hodgson's Ducati Austin leathers are up for grabs as are a set of 'Nitro' Nori Haga's and, for example, this could be the only chance in history to buy Jeremy McWilliams' Aprilia RS3 Cube bodywork!

Listed below are the complete list of lots (to date). Doors open at 5pm for viewing and for further information please contact Sue Symons on (UK) 01904 339647. Admission is ?3.00 per person
