FIA announce

The race will start in 15 minutes - 3:20pm BST.

15:01
FIA confirm rule

"For clarification, art. 5.4.d) about the 3-hour period to run the race only applies when there’s a race interruption. In this case, the race has not started," the FIA confirm.

15:01
A good sign

The medical car is out on track. We shouldn't be too far away from the race start.

14:48
An update from the FIA
"We anticipate the rain to stop at 16:00 (3pm UK). We will then target a start as soon as the standing water has been cleared from the track."
14:43
Gasly

"I'm sure it will start in 15 to 20 minutes, it's just the visibility down to Eau Rouge. Once this is gone, it should be a good race, a wet start and probably dry towards the end, so it should be exciting."

14:39

A tractor is trying to dry the track.

Verstappen not happy with the delay

He reported over team radio: “Well that's a bit silly, I mean, you should just run a few laps, jesus. They're way too cautious, now the heavy rain is coming, and then it's gonna be a 3 hour delay."

14:10
Albon radio

"Expecting heavy rain in nine minutes," he's told.

14:06
All cars in the pit lane

So everyone is back in the pit lane now. Ironically, the rain has stopped and heavier rain is on the way.
