Russell moves into fifth. He breezes past Albon into Les Combes. 

Piastri is running 1.1s ahead of Norris. Leclerc has Verstappen for close company in the battle for the final spot on the podium. 

Impressive from Piastri, who has overtaken Norris on the run down to Les Combes. He leads at Spa already.

It will be a rolling start, not a standing one. A very cautious decision from race control.

Norris, Piastri, Leclerc, Verstappen, Albon, Russell, Tsunoda, Hadjar, Lawson, Bortoleto, Ocon, Bearman, Gasly, Hulkenberg, Colapinto, Stroll, Sainz, Hamilton, Antonelli and Alonso.

The Safety Car leads the pack out for the race. We're expecting two laps behind the Safety Car.

The FIA will then decide if it's a standing start or a rolling one. 

"Race Control are planning at least 2 laps behind Safety Car to assess visibility." 

The sun is now out and no more rain is expected (for now). 

"For clarification, art. 5.4.d) about the 3-hour period to run the race only applies when there’s a race interruption. In this case, the race has not started," the FIA confirm.

The medical car is out on track. We shouldn't be too far away from the race start. 

"I'm sure it will start in 15 to 20 minutes, it's just the visibility down to Eau Rouge. Once this is gone, it should be a good race, a wet start and probably dry towards the end, so it should be exciting."

If we go beyond two laps, we can score.

Winner: 6 points

If we get to the end of Lap 22, it is 50% of the full distance

Winner: 13 points

Second: 10 points

Third: 8 points

Fourth: 6 points

If we get to the end of Lap 33, it is 75% of the full distance

He reported over team radio: “Well that's a bit silly, I mean, you should just run a few laps, jesus. They're way too cautious, now the heavy rain is coming, and then it's gonna be a 3 hour delay." 

"Expecting heavy rain in nine minutes," he's told. 

So everyone is back in the pit lane now. Ironically, the rain has stopped and heavier rain is on the way.
