Franchitti's Jaguar test is go.
Rumours that Dario Franchitti could shortly be testing a Jaguar F1 car appear to be true, according to the Scot's current team boss.
Barry Green, the man in charge of the Team KOOL Green Champcar entry, has revealed that discussions have taken place regarding the test, although he says that neither he nor Franchitti have been directly involved. The Scot drove for former Jaguar boss Jackie Stewart in the junior formulae, and is managed by BAR boss Craig Pollock's Stellar Management organisation.

''I am aware that there have been some discussions,'' Green admitted to Autosport magazine, ''but I'm not sure how much Dario is actually involved in them. He has a very good management team, and I'm sure they are taking care of him.''
The expatriate Australian played down speculation that his charge may be quitting CART, however, claiming that a new contract is on the table for the Scot.
