The FIA's proposed shake-up of Formula One aerodynamics has received a setback after technical chiefs ruled out the possibility of introducing the radical Centreline Downwash Generating [CDG] Wing for the 2007 season.
Toyota set 'launch' date for TF106.
The Panasonic Toyota Racing team has revealed they will still hold a pre-season launch for their 2006 challenger - the TF106, despite the fact they have already 'unveiled' the car by beginning testing with its this week at the Circuit de Catalunya in Barcelona.

The Super Aguri Formula One team is 'still planning' an entry into the 2006 Formula One World Championship, despite not being named on the official entry list published by the FIA.
Alonso given title winning Renault R25.
Renault have given Fernando Alonso a 'special gift' - his championship-winning R25, following a celebratory evening Wednesday, to mark Renault's historic double world championship victory in F1 in 2005. Alonso admitted the gift was a 'dream come true'.
Marques set for surprise return?

Midland MAN-up for '06.
Midland F1 Racing has announced that they will team up with MAN Trucks in 2006. MAN Trucks, who already sponsor MF1 Racing driver Christijan Albers, will supply the Silverstone based team with ten brand new trucks. They will be delivered in the new MF1 colours at the beginning of 2006.
