Red Bull Racing's junior team - Scuderia Toro Rosso, will use Michelin tyres next season.

A spokesperson for Michelin told Reuters that they had to accept Scuderia Toro Rosso's request for tyres under the regulations laid down by the sports governing body, the FIA, which obliges them to supply at least 60 per cent of the grid.

Red Bull Racing's junior team - Scuderia Toro Rosso, will use Michelin tyres next season.

A spokesperson for Michelin told Reuters that they had to accept Scuderia Toro Rosso's request for tyres under the regulations laid down by the sports governing body, the FIA, which obliges them to supply at least 60 per cent of the grid.

Toro Rosso used Bridgestone tyres in 2005, when the outfit was then owned by Paul Stoddart and called Minardi. However following the take-over by Red Bull, it has been rumoured that they would switch to Michelin, so that both of Dietrich Mateschitz's outfits run on the same rubber.

Red Bull will begin testing with both the 'A' and 'B' teams on Tuesday at Barcelona.
