Wheatcroft wins inaugural Meguiar's award.
Tom Wheatcroft, founder of the world-famous Donington Grand Prix Collection, has been chosen to receive the first ever Meguiar's Award for the 'UK Car Enthusiast of the Year'. The award will be presented at The Royal Automobile Club in London on 18 September.

Toyota links up with BMC Software Inc.
Toyota Motorsport GmbH has today announced that it has signed a sponsorship deal with US-based IT company BMC Software Inc, effective 1 July 2004, which sees BMC become a sponsor and technical partner for the Panasonic Toyota Racing Formula 1 team.

Panasonic Toyota Racing driver Olivier Panis has hinted that he will stay at the Cologne based team in 2005.

French GP preview - Jaguar Racing.
Jaguar Racing has been testing at the Circuit de Cataluyna, Barcelona, Spain since returning from the Indianapolis race in the USA just over a week ago. The team completed a three-day test last week involving all three drivers, Mark Webber, Christian Klien and Bj?rn Wirdheim.

Jaguar ruing Klien decision?
Jaguar's managing director David Pitchforth has conceded that the team may have been too hasty to promote 21 year-old Christian Klien into the driving seat alongside Mark Webber and that the young Austrian may have been better off running as a test driver in 2004.
Formula One comes to London's Regent Street.
Formula One will come to the streets of London with the confirmation from The Regent Street Association that eight F1 teams will run on the street in the heart of London's West End on Tuesday July 6th.
Ferrari adds to Indianapolis legacy.
The Ferrari team continued its winning run at the United States Grand Prix with a third successive triumph at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway - and its fourth in the five races held since Formula One returned to the Brickyard.

Michelin blames accidents on debris.
Tyre supplier Michelin has claimed that debris was the primary cause of the accidents that took Fernando Alonso and Ralf Schumacher out of the United States Grand Prix, dramatically so in the German's case.
Raikkonen: I could have been on podium.
McLaren again got both its cars into the points at the end of a grand prix, but that wasn't enough for Kimi Raikkonen, who firmly believed that he should have gained more than three points for sixth place.
Montoya, Williams unhappy over 'belated' exclusion
At Indianapolis, Juan Montoya and the BMW Williams team suffered the ignominy of being excluded from a second grand prix in succession but, once again, although the infringement was in place right from the start, the axe only fell once the Colombian had all but completed a race distance.

There were podium-magnitude celebrations in the Minardi Cosworth garage at the end of the United States Grand Prix today [Sunday] as the Faenza squad's Zsolt Baumgartner scored the team's first point in 41 races.

Ralf escapes with bruising, puncture blamed.
BMW WilliamsF1 driver Ralf Schumacher appears to have escaped from his high-speed crash at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway today [Sunday] with 'just bruising', according to a statement released by his team.
