Jordan: No driver decision yet.
Jordan have responded to recent speculation about the identity of their second driver for 2003, by stating that no decision has yet been made as to whom will partner Giancarlo Fisichella at the Silverstone base team.

UK Garage divas Mis-teeq has become the latest act to confirm for the F1 Awards at the 2003 Grand Prix Party on Saturday 11th January at the NEC Arena, Birmingham.

McLaren boss Ron Dennis has been talking of his hopes for next year and his team's strategy in starting the 2003 season with last year's car.

DC: No one stays on top forever.
West McLaren Mercedes driver David Coulthard believes that the battle for the F1 title could really close up this year. "There is definitely a feeling in the team that we could challenge Ferrari next season," said DC, speaking to British newspaper The Sunday Mirror .

Tom Walkinshaw's Arrows team is making a last bid attempt to save itself by appointing financial receivers who will attempt to rescue what they can from the fallen team.

Rosberg to replace Pizzonia as Williams tester?
Frank Williams has praised the performance of 17-year-old Nico Rosberg, son of former F1 champ Keke, during his F1 debut at recent test with the Oxfordshire based team in Barcelona. Rosberg was given the opportunity as a reward for wining this year's Formula BMW championship.

Toyota boss Ove Andersson [pictured] has revealed for the first time the reasons why his team sacked both of its 2002 drivers - experienced Finn Mika Salo and British F1 rookie Allan McNish, in favour of Olivier Panis and CART champion Cristiano da Matta.

Formula One's governing body, the FIA today [Monday] confirmed that Friday testing, prior to a Grand Prix will go ahead in 2003. The FIA released a brief statement noting that:

The Mild Seven Renault F1 Team today [Sunday] concluded its four-day test session at the Spanish circuit of Jerez. The team achieved some positive results with next year's development items.

BAR give Matsuura first taste of F1.
Kosuke Matsuura got his first taste of Formula One today when Lucky Strike BAR Honda gave him a one-day test at the Circuito de Jerez in Spain.
<I>Formula 1 Magazine</I> appoints new editor.
Formula One Publishing has announced the appointment of Matthew Franey as Editor of Formula 1 Magazine. He will assume this position on 6th January 2003.

The McLaren-Mercedes team topped the times for the second day running today [Saturday] at Jerez, this time though Kimi Raikkonen took the honours for the Woking based team, while test driver Alexander Wurz was forced to settled for fourth.
