The Jaguar Racing team and the new R4 - unveiled today [Tuesday] online, with a "virtual launch" - will benefit from the brand new Cosworth CR-5 V10 engine in 2003.

Jaguar appoints Director of Engineering.
Jaguar Racing today announced that Ian Pocock, will join the team as Director of Engineering from 13th February 2003. Pocock joins Jaguar Racing from Pi Research where his most recent role was Engineering Director.

Renault launches 2003 car in Switzerland.
The Mild Seven Renault F1 team officially unveiled its 2003 Formula One world championship challenger at the Lucerne Culture and Convention Centre in Switzerland today [Monday].

Mosley: McLaren remind me of America...
In a further attempt to justify the radical rule changes announced last Wednesday, FIA president Max Mosley has compared the McLaren Formula One team with America during the Cold War years.

Jordan ready to test after successful shakedown.

FIA announces radical changes for F1.
The FIA, Formula One's governing body, yesterday announced a host of changes that will effect the sport from 2003, to say they are radical is by no means an understatement.

Jacques Villeneuve has been at his old tricks again at the launch of the BAR 005 yesterday claiming that his new team-mate Jenson Button will only be good enough to carry BAR forward if the Briton raises his game.

McNish makes on-track debut for Renault.
Renault F1 test driver Allan McNish made an unexpected early debut with the team today [Wednesday] at the Circuit de Catalunya, Barcelona, after regular driver, Jarno Trulli was forced to miss the day's running as he was feeling unwell.

McLaren-Mercedes dominated testing today [Wednesday] at Barcelona, with the top three times all being set by drivers from the Woking based concern.

Arrows goes into liquidation.
The Arrows Formula One team has gone into liquidation according to reports by British newspaper, The Guardian . The Leafield based team called in the receivers at the beginning of January in what was said to be the final attempt to save the team.
