Pedro de la Rosa appears to have poured fuel on the fire surrounding Prodrive's expected entry into Formula One next season, by claiming that he will remain with McLaren.

Dethroned Formula 1 World Champion Fernando Alonso has hailed Kimi Raikkonen as a deserving successor to his crown after the Finn scored an unlikely title win in the final round of the 2007 season at Interlagos.

McLaren collects constructors` trophy - sort of.
His team may have lost all its points in the constructors' championship as a result of the Formula 1 spying row, but Ron Dennis has at least managed to get his hands on a trophy to mark the team's achievements during the 2007 campaign.
