The voice of legendary public address announcer Tom Carnegie has provided a soundtrack for fans at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway for the last 59 years.

Now Motorsports fans can bring Carnegie and some of his famous sayings from the Speedway to their homes.

A talking bobblehead doll of Carnegie is now available for purchase for $29.95. Fans can buy the 8.5-inch-tall resin doll via the World Wide Web at the Online Store of the official Indianapolis Motor Speedway Web site,, or at the IMS Gift Shops in the Speedway's Hall of Fame Museum or at the Brickyard Authentics Stores located at Circle Centre Mall in downtown Indianapolis and the Indianapolis International Airport, respectively.

The bobblehead also includes audio recordings of three of Carnegie's most famous sayings over the years from his commentary during the Indianapolis 500, Brickyard 400 and United States Grand Prix, each saying selected by Carnegie:

"And it's a new track record!"
"And heeee's on it!"
"Oh, no, he's slowing down on the backstretch!" (Usually reserved for Mario Andretti)

Carnegie, 85, has been the PA voice of every race at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway since the 1946 Indianapolis 500, the first race at the facility after it reopened at the end of World War II. Since then, his rich, baritone voice and friendly personality have helped him become one of the most beloved and respected figures in Speedway history.

"I'm excited about it, and the quality of the item is really good," Carnegie said. "It's a good salute to my 60th race this year."
