Barff will be sharing a new TVR T440R with Richard Hay and Richard Stanton, the trio first linking up for next month's Sebring 12-Hours.

A podium finisher at last month's Rolex Daytona 24 Hours, Barff drove a TVR Cerbera Speed 12 in the British GT series last year, and the rapid racer is now intent on establishing himself on the international stage. After Sebring the squad plan a busy testing and development schedule prior to pre-qualifying at Le Mans in May.

"I'm delighted to be able to take this opportunity to continue my relationship with TVR," says Barff. "I had my first test in the new TVR T440R at Snetterton over the weekend, and the car feels very similar to the TVR Tuscan R that I raced in the British GT Championship in 2001, and looks like the younger, better looking sister of the mighty TVR Cerbera Speed 12 that I raced last year!"

The TVR will bear allegiance to DeWalt, who backed the Morgan Aero 8 at the French classic last year, as well as Barff's personal sponsors - The Cobra Group, Jelson Homes, and Microscan.
