Since then Carl has raced for some prestigious UK teams in both the 125 and 250 GPS, taking his first GP win in 2000 in France. 2003 will be a fresh start for the Bury St Edmunds based rider as well as the MJ Church Kawasaki team.
"I know I have made the right decision," stated Nunn. "I have known Mike Church for some time and we both know what we are aiming for, which is important. 2003 will be a new start in a new team and I am really looking forward to racing the Kawasaki and working with the MJ Church team next year."
Nunn is an extremely popular rider, who has had proven success both in the UK and Europe, and is ranked 14th in the World Championship after the 02 season. One of Nunns major ambitions is to win the British Title, something, which is also important to the team.
"I had been planning to run a 250 team next year for some time now," explained team owner Mike Church. "We have spent two years concentrating on the 125 class, and I feel it is time to do something different and there will be a lot of changes."
"We are also a British Team and I am happy to have a British rider back with us, we have a lot of followers in the UK as does Carl and I think its important for the fans to have a British rider campaigning for a British team. I am delighted to have Carl, I believe he is a very committed and talented rider, we are looking forward to 2003".
Nunn who was raced for Husqvarna this year, heads to the final round of the British Championship at Polesworth this Sunday 40 points behind the current series leader.
