Strijbos signs for Team Suzuki.

Kevin Strijbos has signed a two-year deal with Team Suzuki. The 17-year-old will thus become the factory teammate of 250cc World Champion Mickael Pichon.

Strijbos, a former 80cc World Champion and 125cc European Champion, will race in the premier Motocross GP Class in 2003 on a 250cc machine. The move comes after three years of racing for the Dutch Bonenberg Racing Team.

His season ending placements during that time were19th (2001) and 18th (2002), both in the 125cc class. In the same years he took second place in the Dutch Open 125cc Series behind Marc de Reuver.
