2004 World SX calendar announced.

The FIM has announced the 17 round 2004 Supercross World Championship, which again features just two rounds in Europe before 'doubling up' with the dominant AMA series at its opening Anaheim I event.

Last year, only Yamaha sent their factory AMA rider's to Europe, making them eligible for the world championship, with Chad Reed going on to take he inaugural crown.

Last year, only Yamaha sent their factory AMA rider's to Europe, making them eligible for the world championship, with Chad Reed going on to take he inaugural crown.

However, he was beaten to the more competitive - and prestigious - AMA title by Honda's Ricky Carmichael. It is not known if RC will be making the journey to Europe at the end of this year.
