Positive news!
Quartararo is back in his garage with some fresh leathers on and is ready to go again.
Not too much in the way of timesheet changes right now as everyone focuses on used tyre running.
Fresh from aa strong run at the 24 Hour of Le Mans with BMW prior to the car breaking down, Valentino Rossi is on site at Mugello watching on from the sidelines.
He's got a week off before he's back behind the wheel at the 24 Hours of Spa next weekend.

He's pleading with the marshals to be able to take his bike back to the pits.

Nine riders currently - including Acosta - are looking at the soft rear right now.

Pitlane is open for Practice.
A reminder for those who may be new to MotoGP:
The top 10 at the end of this session will go through directly to Q2 in qualifying on Saturday. The rest will face Q1 to battle for two places in Q2.
Just 10 minutes to go till pitlane opens for PR.
Aprilia's Marco Bezzecchi was fastest in FP1 this morning with a 1m46.199s identical to KTM's Pedro Acosta in second.
Both of those riders did use fresh medium rubber at the end of the session, while the Ducatis didn't. So, we're yet to really see a real picture of the pecking order.
It's even hotter this afternoon than it was in FP1, with the air temp up at 34 degrees C!
That will likely mean we're going to see quite a few falls in this session when we get to the time attack phase as grip will be pretty limited in such hot conditions.
