Marco Bezzecchi, fastest, has now switched to the medium rear tyre (with a new hard front).
Marco Bezzecchi and Marc Marquez move into 1st and 2nd on the timesheets.
BUT Marquez is using old hard front/soft rear tyres but Bezzecchi has newer tyres after the earlier accident on his number one bike.

The Alex Marquez/Marco Bezzecchi incident is under investigation by the FIM Stewards.
They probably want to know if Alex Marquez backed off dangerously, or Marco Bezzecchi braked too late, causing the high speed contact.
Red flags after 9mins of Practice, presumably to check the track for debris.
All riders okay.
Marco Bezzecchi has fallen at Turn 4, Miller Corner.
He's initially trapped under the Aprilia before being helped by marshals.
Replays show Bezzecchi clipping the back of Alex Marquez on the exit of Turn 3, ripping the fairing off of RS-GP before falling at low speed in the grass.
Bezzecchi's accident was before the scene of Miller's fall, and so not a consequence of any debris.
Jack Miller has been shown the black and orange flag due to visible damage and gravel being dropped from his Pramac Yamaha. He needs to get off the track straight away or he'll have a penalty.
Jack Miller is down for the second time today, at Turn 6, but keeps the Pramac Yamaha running and rejoins.
Johann Zarco, one of just two Honda riders left, puts his RC213V fastest with a soft rear tyre. Marco Bezzecchi and Marc Marquez follow on medium rears.
As expected, most riders have moved to the favoured hard front tyre - for the first time this weekend - for the start of Practice.
There's a mix of soft and medium rears. Soft is the usual choice for the Sprint, medium the grand prix... but that won't count for anything if it rains.
The one-hour Practice session begins at Phillip Island.
The top ten riders will receive direct access to Qualifying 2.
Despite the clear blue sky, TV cameras show flags and trees being buffeted by strong winds ahead of afternoon Practice.
A reminder that Marc Marquez set the only 1m 27s lap, on old medium tyres, in FP1.
The sun is still shining ahead of afternoon MotoGP practice.
This could be the last time we see MotoGP bikes at full dry speed around Phillip Island, with showers forecast for Saturday and Sunday.
Moto2 afternoon practice ends with Izan Guevara ahead of fellow 2027 MotoGP rider, and home hero, Senna Agius.
