Workington have announced the signing of Great Britain international Carl Stonehewer for a fifth successive season, but popular Swede Peter Karlsson won't be back.
Karlsson has a problem with flight schedules will not be returning next year. Boss Ian Thomas said: "I was in tears - and so was Peter - when I made the
announcement to our fans but we're delighted to have Carl back again."

Stonehewer joins Rusty Harrison and Kauko Niemenen as Workington riders in 2003. But with the absence of Karlsson they'll be on the hunt for a new heat leader.
