The Stobart VK M-Sport Ford Rally team has announced that Gigi Galli will join Henning Solberg and Matthew Wilson next season as the M-Sport run outfit competes in the WRC for the third full year in succession.

Sebastien Loeb has won the 2007 FIA World Rally drivers' championship following the Wales Rally GB, the final round in the series.

Subaru withdraws Atkinson.
The Subaru World Rally Team has had to withdraw Chris Atkinson from the third leg of the Rally Ireland due to an internal engine problem. Atkinson, who lost over 20 minutes on day 1, when he went off the road in SS4, finished leg 2 in 29th place overall.
