Rutter on a high following North West success.
Michael Rutter and his Isilon MSS Discovery Kawasaki team heads to Snetterton on a high following their double podium at last weekend's North West 200 races.
BSS: Lowry leads warm- up.
Ian Lowry on the Relentless Suzuki was the fastest man on track during morning warm-up at Oulton Park for round four of the Maxxis Supersport Championship. The Virgin Media Yamaha team were running in second and third with Billy McConnell ahead of the still injured Tom Grant.
Mixed fortunes for Airwaves pair.
The season couldn't have started any better for Airwaves Ducati's Gregorio Lavilla. Two double wins at the first two rounds has set him up nicely. However, his team-mate Leon Haslam has not had the same luck and is yet to grace the podium this season.

Cadwell Park's famous Mountain section has been resurfaced for the first time in 18 years.

Jamie Robinson aboard the Margal/Bykerbabe Honda has stolen pole position ahead of round two of the Maxxis British Supersport Championship at Thruxton.
Healthy start for Hydrex Honda at Brands Hatch.
The three man strong Hydrex Honda team got off to a good start at Brands Hatch for the opening round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship and the Metzeler National Superstock Championship.

Rizla Suzuki team manager Simon Buckmaster confessed to being disappointed by Chris Walker's ninth place in the final pre-season BSB test at Snetterton on Sunday.

Virgin Media's Billy McConnell lead the final Supersport session at Snetterton lapping in 1min 8.872secs. Second fastest was Stuart Easton on the MSS Discovery Kawasaki and running in third place was the second of the Virgin bikes with R6 Cup winner, Tom Grant on board.

Embassy Racing, the West Yorkshire based sportscar racing team, has decided to make the move into two wheeled sport by announcing its intention to run former British Superbike rider Glen Richards in this year's National Superstock Championship.

The Virgin Mobile Optoma Loans Yamaha race team took to the Croft circuit for the first time on the new 2007 Yamaha YZF-R1, but they were without there number one rider, James Haydon.
BSS: MSS Discovery and Murphy part-company.
Kieran Murphy and MSS Discovery Kawasaki have mutually agreed to go their separate ways before the start of the 2007 season. The 27-year-old rider from Ipswich joined the team for the 2006 season, scoring his best result of fourth at Silverstone.

Wilson returns to Superstock.
Ben Wilson is to return to the National Superstock Championship for the 2007 season, riding a GSX-R 1000 for the newly formed Windmill Suzuki team - in which he will be the sole rider.

Italian tyre manufacturer, Pirelli, has pledged full factory support to Virgin Mobile Yamaha for the 2007 season.

Eleven-times Isle of Man TT winner John McGuinness has completed a deal with Honda UK that will see him line up in the colours of both HM Plant and Padgetts Motorcycles for the 2007 season.
