BSS: Brookes joins HM Plant for Brands.

Joshua Brookes has been drafted in to compete with HM Plant Honda for this weekend's British Supersport season finale at Brands Hatch.

The Aussie rider, who currently sits third in the World Supersport standings aboard the Stiggy Motorsport Honda, will be deputising for Steve Brogan.

Brogan was crowned National Superstock 1000 Champion at Silverstone but is still struggling with the broken bones he suffered in an accident at Croft. As such, he has decided to skip the final Supersport round of the year.

Brookes, who is tipped to join HM Plant's Leon Haslam in Stiggy's World Superbike effort next season, brings plenty of pedigree to the team having won once this season, at Donington Park, and scored a further five podiums.
