Hickman remains at Red Viper.

Peter Hickman will continue to race in place of Aaron Zanotti for the final round of the Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Brands Hatch.

Zanotti was forced to miss the penultimate event at Silverstone after injuring himself in an accident at Croft, but while he was confident of a return for the final round, he won't be present.

Indeed, Zanotti visited the MCRCB Doctor at Silverstone, who pronounced himself unhappy with his progress. Having X-rayed his back, it was discovered that Zanotti has a 50 per cent crush to vertebra T6, forcing him to be readmitted to Queens Medical Centre for further checks.

He has since been told he must take it easy for the next six to eight weeks.

As such, Hickman, who rode the Red Viper Honda at Silverstone, will return to the team for Brands Hatch.
