Lewis Hamilton’s win at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya proved a key victory in the title race, which eventually lead to the Briton’s triumph. Sebastian Vettel was leading for the majority of the race before pitting but as the German returned to the track alongside Hamilton the duo touched wheels and the latter was forced off the track. Hamilton recovered well later on and was able to overtake Vettel on lap 44 and held on to win the race.
