Jordan Seal Investment Deal

The Jordan team has tied up a long term deal with investment bank Warburg, Pincus, which should secure its future financial stability.


The deal is not the first in Formula One to involve an investment company - Bowman Credit and Yeoman are just two such institutions to operate in the sport - but is thought to be the first to deal with investment over a long period of time.

The Warburg, Pincus name will not appear on the cars next season - in line with its non-sponsorship role - as the company will instead focus on the future growth of Jordan Grand Prix." In addition, Warburg, Pincus will have no say in the day-to-day operations of the team.
