Sacked Avis signs for Eggens Racing.
It has been announced that South-African Wyatt Avis, recently sacked along with team-mate Jarred de Jager from the Kawasaki Satellite team after a poor start to the season, has signed for Yamaha Eggens Racing.
Avis, who was second in the 2002 125cc European Championship, will now race for Theo Eggens' outfit in the remaining rounds of the Dutch Open Series and possibly the 125cc world championship.
Eggens himelf lost rising star Marc de Reuver to KTM in the middle of 2002.
