Sources in The Netherlands have told Crash.net that double 250cc world motocross champion, Mickael Pichon, has signed a one-year contract with the Tiscali-Honda-Martin team.

Pichon, who was battling Stefan Everts for last year's Motocross GP crown until a severe knee injury prematurely ended his season, had been out of a ride after being dropped by Suzuki, following four successful years.

Thus, Mickael will return to Honda - the manufacturer with whom he began his professional career in 1990 and for whom he rode in the AMA championships - this season, campaigning a factory supported CR450F in the newly named MX1 class, alongside Brian Jorgensen.
