Fans at this weekend's AMA Motocross season finale at Glen Helen Raceway, California, might be immortalized on the big screen with the news that a film crew working on Supercross: The Movie will be on hand to capture footage.
"It's great to see the AMA Supercross and Motocross Championships playing such an integral role in plot of an exciting project like Supercross: The Movie," said John Farris, AMA Pro Racing's vice president of commercial development. "The team at Tag Entertainment is committed to taking these great sports to the big screen and exposing motorcycling to the masses. We at AMA Pro Racing are happy to assist."
"We are excited about bringing Supercross and Motocross to a wide audience," added Steve Austin, president of TAG Entertainment. "We're working closely with the AMA Pro Racing to help bring authenticity and integrity to Supercross: The Movie. The film will be released by 20th Century Fox in the Summer of 2005.
