These are the first photographs of Suzuki's new motocross signing Ricky Carmichael testing the new RM in California this week.
RC - who recently clinched the AMA Motocross series by winning all 24 race races for Honda - will head up American Suzuki's Makita-sponsored 2005 Supercross and Motocross team alongside Sebastien Tortelli, Broc Hepler and Davi Millsaps. Freestyle ace Travis Pastrana will also contest the AMA Supercross series, under the Cernic Suzuki banner.

Carmichael will begin his Team Makita Suzuki career at the U.S. Open of Supercross this month aboard an RM250. For the 2005 season, he will continue to race a RM250 two-stroke in AMA Supercross and an RM-Z450 four-stroke in AMA Motocross.
