The talented Russian teenager has inked a two year deal with the Dutch based team after an impressive ride at the European MX of Nations, where Bobryshev beat factory riders Maxi Nagl, Manuel Priem and Marcus Schiffer in the final moto of the team event.

"Evgeny is a hard worker and I see great potential for him in the years to come," stated team owner and manager Adri Van Beers. "He is very focused and we are glad that he will be part of the Yamaha Van Beers family for 2008 and 2009. I have seen him ride in the sand and his recent result at the European of Nations event really impressed me."

"I started my racing career on a Yamaha and I am really happy to have a place at Van Beers racing," added Bobryshev, who will participate in all MX2 GPs and Dutch championship rounds, as well as selected Russian championship events. "I rode their YZ250F at the last Dutch championship and I am really pleased with the power and suspension. I can learn a lot from the team and the riders so I look forward to my first full year of GP racing."

Bobryshev will complete the team's three man line-up, which will also include Estonian and former MX2 Dutch champ Aigar Leok (MX1) and Latvian Lauris Freibergs (MX1).
