Motegi MotoGP qualifying delayed.

The MotoGP qualifying session for the Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi has been delayed by an hour due to continued heavy rain and standing water.

125cc qualifying, due to take place before the premier-class session, had already been postponed until the end of the day (after the 250cc class) due to the conditions.

The MotoGP qualifying session for the Japanese Grand Prix at Motegi has been delayed by an hour due to continued heavy rain and standing water.

125cc qualifying, due to take place before the premier-class session, had already been postponed until the end of the day (after the 250cc class) due to the conditions.

However, unless the weather suddenly improves it seems likely that qualifying will be cancelled completely.

Earlier this month, the season-opening Qatar MotoGP night race was delayed by one day due to rain in the desert.
