Proton V5 is at Le Mans!

After weeks of will they-won't they, Proton Team KR look almost certain to give their V5 its MotoGP debut at Le Mans tomorrow (Friday).

The all new four-stroke has been track tested in England by both Jeremy McWilliams and Nobuatsu Aoki all week, and today was confirmed as being at Le Mans, venue for Sunday's French Grand Prix, round four of the 2003 championship.

The prototype machine roared into life this afternoon whilst across the garage the team's lightweight KR3 two-strokes remained on standby at a track which could ironically be more suited to them - particularly if the race is run in wet conditions.
