After predicting the rain that briefly interrupted normal service at Formula One's Austrian Grand Prix last Sunday, Crash.Net's weather oracle foresees more of the same affecting this weekend's French MotoGP event at Le Mans.

Le Mans, France

Friday
A dry day is in prospect with some sunny intervals although, during the afternoon, cloud will filter down from the north, ending the day on an overcast note. High pressure hanging on close by will feed in warm air and in the brightness temperatures will soar to 24C / 76F.

Saturday
A cloudy day with a strong possibility of moderate and persistent rain from early morning onwards as a weather front moves south across France. It will last for many hours before tending to fade away later during the afternoon and early evening. It will be a rather cold day, with maximum temperatures only reaching 15C / 58F and, combining this with a stiff westerly wind, it will feel just a little chilly.

Sunday
A slight improvement from Saturday, although showers will still skirt close by to the circuit around race time. Temperatures will be much better than Saturday and, if skies brighten through the cloud, they will pick up to 18C / 64F with a light south westerly breeze.
