The spectacular image of Loris Capirossi spinning his Ducati's rear wheel in and out of corners is fast becoming a regular feature of a MotoGP event - but it's something most fans could never tire of.

Here, we show a picture (provided by Ducati) of Loris providing some opposite lock after lighting up the rear wheel and getting his 220+bhp V4 sideways, during today's first qualifying session for the Catalan GP.

The Italian ended the session second fastest, 0.4secs behind provisional pole sitter Valentino Rossi and its looks like 'Capirex' will once again be in contention for Ducati's first ever MotoGP victory on Sunday.

Whether he can achieve that breakthrough victory or not, his spectacular style will be well worth watching...
