KTM engine at Team Roberts.
Whilst the MotoGP race was underway at Assen and all eyes were trackwards, an engine sized box was being carried to the back of the Team Roberts pit garage.
Word is now that the KTM V4 engine is on the dyno at Banbury and will test in a month or two. Team Roberts need this as their current engine was pushing out 180bhp in Rio, less than last year, and 2 bhp less than a new Yamaha R1 engine when up to speed.

You can currently buy a R1 at your local Yamaha dealer (next door to your local Foggy Petronas dealer) for a great deal less than a V5 Roberts engine.
The chassis is however, one of the best and most exquisite in the paddock. When Roberts get an engine to push the thing along... watch out.
