Team Dynamik targeting top ten results in Sydney.

Team Dynamik drivers Simon Wills and Jason Richards are confident of top ten results on the back of a very successful test day at Mallala, before the eighth round of the V8 Supercar Series on the 2.7km circuit at Oran Park, Sydney, this weekend.

Team manager Oscar Fiorinotto is also looking forward to the challenge at Oran Park: "The circuit is very undulating and bumpy with a mix of high and low speed corners, so chassis balance is absolutely critical. Damper control is crucial and something that we have worked very hard on."

Qualifying at Oran Park is very important with limited passing opportunities and tyre degradation being major factors. Having already demonstrated that the Dynamik Commodores are capable of qualifying in the top five both drivers are very fired up to achieve another notable first for the team by having both cars finish in the top ten.

Simon Wills sees Oran Park as a tremendous opportunity to consolidate a string of top ten finishes and qualifying results: "I've enjoyed considerable success at Oran Park previously - it's one of those tracks that I really enjoy as it has a little bit of everything in it and we have made several changes to the car which we were able to prove on our recent test day."

The new race format of 111 laps on a circuit that comprises approximately 75 per cent corners means that drivers will have little chance of any respite during the 300k race on Sunday. It is a track that requires total concentration and drivers must settle into a rhythm early on as mistakes will be severely punished in trying to regain any lost track position.

"This has to be one of the tougher races this year as this track is a real test for a drivers ability. We have a great chassis package thanks to some improvements from our recent test day and I have been able to qualify in the top ten here previously," said Jason Richards.

In the build up to this weekends race the drivers have had very full schedules with the recent launch of the Team Dynamik Club. "The innovative Dynamik supporters Club has really captured the attention of the South Australian V8 Supercar Supporters with many businesses and recognising the opportunity to associate with the excitement of SA's very own Team," said team principal, Kieran Wills.
