Haga handed one month ban.

Japanese Yamaha star Noriyuki Haga has incurred the wrath of the International Disciplinary Court for failing two drug tests in the first five rounds of the 2000 World Superbike championship.

On both occasions Haga exceeded the limit for ephedrine, a substance found in some of the dietary aids Haga used during the winter months. Whilst it is not a performance enhancing drug, ephedrine is a controlled substance and Haga has paid the penalty.
