Haslam loses out following Sykes incident.
HM Plant Honda rider Leon Haslam has been excluded from the second Bennetts British Superbike Championship race at Oulton Park following his incident with Tom Sykes while dicing for victory.

After a lengthy pace car period, a thoroughly absorbing Fuchs British Supersport race was eventually won by HM Plant Honda rider Steve Brogan after a race long scrap with Glen Richards on the British Triumph.
Sykes crash causes BSB race two stoppage.
The crash happened in the early stages of the race as the Rizla Suzuki rider Tom Sykes was trying to make progress through the field.
HM Plant Honda riders confident ahead of races.
The Honda pair were right on the pace in the tricky wet/dry conditions at Thruxton today. Haslam will start alongside pole setter Byrne with Crutchlow completing the front row in fourth position.

Sykes has continued the good form he showed at Brands Hatch a fortnight ago with top five placings in both free practice sessions so far.

The high speed Hampshire circuit will be a tough test for the presently underpowered F312RR, but Warwick Nowland's team is targeting a top three Cup finish for rider Chris Burns.
