Hodgson, Linfoot looking forward to Motorpoint launch

The Motorpoint Yamaha BSB team will officially launch its 2010 campaign tomorrow (Friday) evening.

From 6.30pm returning former BSB and WSBK champion Neil Hodgson, plus rising star Dan Linfoot, will pull the wraps off their new R1 Superbikes at the Motorpoint HQ in Derby.

And, unlike many team launches, all members of the public are welcome to come along and meet both riders.

"This is great for our team, an open night before the season to give the fans a night out," declared Hodgson. "I know race fans and I know they're as keen as we are to get started! So to be able to come along to something like this should go down well"

"I was involved with the launch last year and it was a great success, it is the week before we start the series so we are all buzzing and I am sure the fans will enjoy coming along meeting our team," added Linfoot.

"We are the only team who open up the doors and welcome our fans to come and see our team launch and we are proud of that," stated team principal Rob Mac. "There is a real buzz about my team this year, a great winter testing programme, Neil Hodgson coming back to the UK and joining my team and young Dan bristling with confidence is something worth sharing.

"Gary Warren from Motorpoint invited us to his Derby HQ last season and it was a huge success so hopefully 2010 will be just as well supported."
