The Dunlop MSA British Touring Car Championship (BTCC) brings together the very best of high-octane motorsport, from thrilling wheel-to-wheel, doorhandle-to-doorhandle on-track action to colourful personalities and the glamour of grid girls - and now Crash.net and Pirtek Racing have teamed up to offer one lucky lady the unique, money-can't-buy opportunity of being Andrew Jordan's grid girl in 2010!
Pirtek is joining the BTCC this year with a Vauxhall Vectra for highly-rated young gun Jordan, who will be entering his third campaign in the hotly-contested, tremendously popular tin-top series - and aiming to add to the haul of silverware that he has already collected, courtesy of an impressive brace of podium finishes for Team Eurotech during his 'rookie' season in 2008 and three more for VX Racing in 2009.
That success last year, indeed, is testament to the fact that the 20-year-old and his eye-catchingly liveried Vectra are a force to be reckoned with indeed and are sure to feature right up at the sharp end of proceedings over the coming months - and here is your chance to get up close as an integral part of the team's challenge!
Pirtek is looking for a grid girl for the first meeting at Thruxton on the weekend of 3-4 April, and for a chance to win all you have to do is send us in a picture of yourself together with a short paragraph (no more than 100 words) explaining why you should be chosen, to be published on Crash.net. There will be similar opportunities to be Andrew's grid girl for each of the subsequent nine BTCC outings over the course of the year.
