Aston Martin driver Stroll and Williams’ Latifi have not always demonstrated the success on the track that their fathers have enjoyed in the business world.

Lawrence Stroll (pictured above) and Michael Latifi have an eye-watering combined value of $5.4 billion!

Lawrence Stroll’s epic car collection

The father of Lance Stroll is worth $2.9 billion (£2.39 billion) which makes him the 1,016th richest person in the world, according to Forbes.

His own father was a wealthy fashion mogul but Lawrence Stroll made his personal fortune by selling shares in the Tommy Hilfiger and Michael Kors brands.

In 2018 he entered F1 by buying Force One, renaming it Racing Point Force India, which then became Racing Point.

His son Lance Stroll drove for Racing Point.

In 2020 Lawrence Stroll led a $235.6 million (£182 million) investment into Aston Martin. He became the executive chairman.

He rebranded his Racing Point F1 team into the Aston Martin F1 team - and again brought in his son as a driver.

The 62 year old’s personal extravagance includes one of the most expensive cars ever sold.

He spent a reported $27.5 million on a 1967 Ferrari 250 GTO in 2013 - it is part of his fleet of personal Ferraris.

His portfolio of properties around the world includes a place in the super-exclusive Caribbean island of Mustique.

He earned his first dollar working in McDonald’s.

He is now worth a reported $2.5 billion (£2.07 billion) and is the owner of Sofina Foods.

Michael Latifi invested £200 million into McLaren in 2018.

He reportedly owns Ferrari F1 cars previously driven by Michael Schumacher and Kimi Raikkonen.

A yacht with astonishing value and spec was sold by Stroll in 2020. The buyer was reportedly Latifi!

‘Faith’, as it was called, is a 97-metre yacht once valued at $200 million.

It features a helicopter landing spot, a swimming pool with a glass bottom, six bedrooms, a cinema and a hairdresser’s salon.
