Damon's Weight Loss Blamed On Water Leak

The weight loss which earned Damon Hill an exclusion in Brazil has been
partly blamed on a water leak from his Jordan.


The British driver finished the race some 7kg below the required limit, but
4.5kg of the difference has been accounted for by the discovery of the
leak. The rest has been attributed a number of factors including an
incorrect amount of ballast being added before the race and Hill's own
weight loss since the weigh-in at the start of the season.
