New Prost Misses French Gp.

The revised Prost AP01 will not appear at its home grand prix after it continued to disappoint in testing.


The car, which features a longer wheelbase and revised suspension, has shown little improvement over its predecessor in the hands of the team's drivers Olivier Panis and Jarno Trulli. Both complained that the car felt nervous despite the longer wheelbase, and have preferred to retain the chassis which started the season.

Several of the new suspension parts were declared an improvement, however, and may find their way onto the car at Magny-Cours this weekend.
