Kyalami Test - Day One: 7 February.

Both Williams and British American Racing were frustrated by decidedly British weather conditions in South Africa yesterday, with neither being able to do any serious running on the first day of their test.

Williams, which is due to run Jenson Button and Ralf Schumacher during its visit to Kyalami, did not venture out on to the circuit, having seen the problems faced by BAR as it attempted to run Ricardo Zonta. The Brazilian completed a handful of slow laps in the rain, but was forced to return to the pits as conditions became worse.
