Herbert, who is looking to extend his career into the American CART series, claims not to bear Michael Schumacher any grudges for the turbulent year they spent together at the Enstone team, but says that the German's ruthless nature sets him apart from the majority of the F1 grid.

Herbert's hopes of racing in CART next year appear to be diminishing rapidly, with only a few seats remaining and seemingly no budget in place for the Englishman.
