The Mild Seven Renault F1 Team today [Sunday] concluded its four-day test session at the Spanish circuit of Jerez. The team achieved some positive results with next year's development items.

Testing for the first time the hybrid car, Fernando Alonso drove throughout the entire session covering a significant amount of mileage in good conditions.

Jarno Trulli, in the R202, ran only on Thursday and Friday morning. The Mild Seven Renault F1 Team made use of this session in Jerez to try two young French drivers, Franck Montagny and Sebastien Bourdais.

Carlos Nunes, Testing Manager of the Mild Seven Renault F1 Team, commented: "Overall it was a useful test session. Fernando Alonso was able to complete the programme as planned, in the hybrid car, and also doing some tyre work for Michelin. Both young French drivers tested the R202.

"Franck Montagny's test on Friday was hampered by bad weather conditions and we decided to give him a second chance on Sunday afternoon. Sebastien Bourdais, who ran Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning, completed a total of 68 laps. They both did very professional jobs."
