Team McLaren-Mercedes tested solo today [Tuesday] at Silverstone, as the outfit began preparations for the Japanese Grand Prix, the finale to this season's FIA Formula One World championship.
Alexander Wurz and Darren Turner were in action for the Woking based squad, the Austrian notching up 20 laps, while Turner completed 18. The best time of the day went to Wurz - a 1 minute 22.803 seconds.
