Davidson injured in Mulsanne shunt.

Anthony Davidson is currently en route to the Le Mans circuit medical centre following a heavy impact with the barriers at the end of the Mulsanne straight.

The BAR-Honda F1 test driver was holding down second place in the GTS class behind the sister Veloqx Prodrive Ferrari 550 Maranello when he left the road approaching the Mulsanne Corner. Little is known about the cause of the incident, but the British team was alarmed to be told that its driver was lying in the gravel trap being attended to by the medical team stationed there.
