New look for MJ Church Kawasaki.

The MJ Church Kawasaki motocross team has confirmed that Fiat Kobelco will be its lead sponsor for the 2003 season, in which it will again tackle both the world and British Championships.

As a result of the sponsorship, the team will take on a very different look for the season and, while remaining under the name of MJ Church Kawasaki, will run under the orange, white and blue colours of their new sponsor. The team has also welcomed Molson, newly appointed distributors of Fiat Kobelco in England, as another major backer.

Riders Carl Nunn and Marko Kovalainen have spent the past few months in Europe, completing testing of their 250cc Kawasaki machines as they prepare for the long season ahead.

Nunn has raced for some prestigious UK teams in both the 125 and 250 GPS, taking his first GP win in 2000 in France. The 23-year old finished 2003 in second place in the British Championship and looks to move one place higher in 2003.

Finnish team mate Kovalainen is keen to improve on his 13th world championship position and while also taking on the best of Britain in his debut season with MJ Church squad.
