Mladin donates $5000 to Brockman appeal.
Four-times American Superbike champion Mat Mladin (pictured) will donate US$5000 to the Jamie Brockman Foundation which has been set up to aid injured the Australian motocross racer.
Mladin placed a set of his race winning leathers on eBay with the auctioned items raising a total of US$2551. In addition to the money raised by his leathers, the Aussie will add to that figure personally to increase the amount to US$5000.

"When I heard about Jamie's accident and the condition that he was in, I couldn't imagine at any time of my life what he and his family are going through," said Mat.
"I understand that it must be very difficult for the family and just wanted to help out. Not everyone is lucky to pick up a factory ride like I have, but it's always great to see someone putting in the effort to get a ride over here like he did," he added. "It's people like him who help give Australians a good name as they want to have a good time and to win."
Brockman, who has been racing in America for the past three seasons, suffered spinal injuries and remains in a serious condition after a race fall while competing at the Spring Creek (Millville) round of the AMA Outdoor Championship on August 17.
Mladin presented the top bidder with his leathers at the final round of the AMA Superbike Championship at Barber Motorsports Park, Alabama, before he returned to Australia for the off-season break.
